Harriet is a sweet and gentle cat that just finished raising 5 identical quintuplets. You are probably wondering why we have chosen to market this little tabico girl as a siamese mix. For one thing, she has lots of siamese characteristics, eyes, body shape, etc., but also, she gave birth to 5 identical flamepoint siamese kittens!  Born on the grounds of a local Shirdi Sai Temple, our momma Harriet kept moving her little family to avoid our rescue efforts (thus the name Harriet, after Harriet Tubman, hero of the Underground Railroad). We finally located five little white balls of fur in a hollowed out stump in the woods behind the Temple.  Harriet probably lived her whole life on the grounds of the Temple, living on the kind handouts from Temple members. Harriet absolutely LOVES attention!  She purrs, purrs, purrs, and will rub on you for pets.  She's a really gentle girl that would love a quiet home with a devoted family.  She's still a little afraid to be picked up (and was probably not picked up in her former life), but otherwise is super sweet and loving.   When she looks at you through those little crossed eyes of hers it will melt your heart!  Her adoption fee covers her vaccinations, wormings and vet care through the date of adoption, as well as her spay. If you'd like to meet Harriet,  please email adoptions@catrangers.org, or call 770-831-5513.
